Vinyl Eyebrows

Just wondering - I see a lot of people on here have made their own eyebrows out of vinyl. I am very interested in this minor mod, I think it looks really good - but I've also read some people who have said that the vinyl eyebrows look bad at night (light shines through). What's the story on vinyl eyebrows? They would be for a laser blue protege if that makes a difference.
Thanks guys (uhm)

I work for a vinyl shop and I used to really like the vinyl eyebrows for the fact that you can see through them at night. Now I have the dg ones and I love them. I wouldn't suggest doing the vinyl way cause you can always tell because it's so hard to get a color match(I've been in this business for 10 years if someones wants to argue PM me). But, it's the most inexpensive way to do it and it takes a whole 2 minutes to put on.

when my friend put red vinyl lids on his srt-4, it was teh gheyness. They chipped when the slightest rock, bug, or piece of sand hit them, then peeled up a bit, =and= shined through @ night. (So after like a week, his lids looked like translucent red cheese graters more than a solid red cloak) Some other guys have put on a black lid, then a color-matching lid (although, like shano said, color matching is one tough b*tch to ride) and they looked better. Not knocking the mod it can look bada$$, just don't skimp or u might end up lookin' like an idiot.

I have a question.
Since I live in Canada and we have a law which makes our car have the headlights on at all time. So, during daytime (since my parking lights are on), would the vinyl eyebrow's color be off or even seen through due to the lights?

Thanks

not if you mean just the little yellow ones in the middle. during the day it's usually alright, anyway... just at night when the cars color is darkened to near-black from lack of light, and the lids show bright red, looks kinda dumb

Yea i made some during the day and thought they looked great, but then at night they looked wack so i took them off. thats my story.

i ordered a roll on ebay that matched my laser blue P5, but same results. i loved them during the day and you can keep changing the style because it takes 5 minutes to cut out and apply, but at night it looked cheap. i got 90% of the roll here if anyone wants some to try it out. PM me.
