1. That's Mature..

2. You have no clue what you are talking about.. A BOV Lets the boost OUT Dumbass. You are talking about a Wastegate. The Boost controller is hooked to the WASTEGATE!!!

well, you are right about the wastegate. But, "you know as you master in Turbo rides", factory BOV can maximize at the factory boost. OH WAIT!!! you dont have a factory turbo car... sorry.

BUT, stock BOV can only hold upto the stock boost, when you puut aftermarket boost conroller, which I ordered, and its on itsway, I need an aftermarket BOV to hold my desire boost level.

And plesae, just leave us alone... you s...

What you say is simply not true. Who the **** told you all that...

1st off. Here is some Lingo for you

BOV or Blow Off Valve.. Psshh Sound...
BPV or By-Pass Valve... or Recirc. What Is Stock On Your SUV

A By-Pass is plumbed back into the system, It allows for the Mass air to accurately measure the airflow even when the valve is removing compressor surge.

A Blow off valve in the stock loaction will cause the injectors to stall the engine every time it oppens. The Mass air will translate the air leaking as air entering the engine and will start to add fuel. The engine will bogg and you will drastically reduce your performance as the car stalls out every time you shift or let off the gas.

The Stock BPV will hold whatever you plan to boost to, as the pressure in the manifold goes up, so does the counter pressure in the diaphram chamber. It will stay closed and work just as before. You will notice a stalling issue unless the Mass Air Meter is moved after the BOV. If you want clarification let me know. I have been doing this for 4 Years now. I have tested pretty much everything myself because when I Started my car... The MSP wasn't even available...

Have you spoken to the MS6 Owners who have found out that the DISI isn't very happy with boost over 18 Psi... It will shut down. It's the same platform, so if I were you I would start reading there.

P.S. Grow Up about this type of BS..

You think I'm upset that my car isn't a factory turbo... I built it from scratch before the MSP was even launched, you don't even understand what to call things, nevermind design a system yourself.

I've stopped fighting. Normally I'm really Blunt. I am calm and truly, I am trying to inform now..
You obviously know quite a bit about boost as you have quite a bit of experience with building your car. You obviously have alot of knowledge that you could add to this forum. I just wish you could "inform" without attaching people for their lack of knowledge. If thats just you then o well.
I my opinion, building a turbo kit is really not that hard. All it requires is a general knowledge about motors. Just about anyone could piece a kit off ebay not that this is the best solution. The hard part is tuning. Especially without being able to tune partial throttle and having the factory ECU trying to maintain the 14.7.
Also I believe a VTA blow-off valve can work on a MAF car with the stock MAF location on some applications with tuning. TN provides a kit with a pre-tuned Unichip for the Scion TC's that elimates stalling and idle drop. I am not great with tuning management so Im not sure exactly what parameters they are tuning (not like TN would really disclose that anyways).

I am not saying you arent smart or dont know what you are doing, because obviously you do. I respect your abilities, I just want you to respect that we are trying to keep these threads a friendly place to learn and share our knowledge and experience. Theres my 2 pennies.

^^ Fooling the ECU with an add on is not a solution... A MAF translator is not a solution... By moving the MAP you can solve the problem without the need to override the MAF and ECU basic functions..

I'd hardly call scratch building a turbo kit simple. It is time consuming and there was alot of research and math involved. Parts were made, not selected.. Designing a Kit and buying parts of a Kit are not the same. In 2002 there were no parts for this car at all..

I'm closing this thread to clear out the troll posts.

Let me make something very clear...I HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR TROLLS OR MEMBERS WHO FEEL THEY CAN BE AN ASS ON THE FORUMS. I WILL TEMPORALLY BAN THOSE MEMBERS ON SITE!

IF THIS BEHAVIOR CONTINUES, I WILL BAN THAT MEMBER FOR LIFE!
