Still have some underdamping going on--you can see the car bounce in the videos.

My co-driver/owner, Craig is #27. I'm #6. There are three runs in the video--Craig and then me going twice. My best run was not captured, but the last run shown was a 55.9 with a cone--my run following was a 55.7 clean. Ended about 1.7 out of 1st ST (2009 Pat Washburn--National Runner-up) and about 1.3 out of 3rd (Craig Mankiewicz 2007 Nationals 3rd) OVERALL...feeling pretty good about that...for a still-needs-work BG chassis running in SpecCivic.

Nice job! The courses we run in SW Michigan tend to be a lot tighter and more technical. It would be great to get onto a fast/open course like that sometime. :)

Thank you...Its arguablely the best venue in the midwest--we get a fair number of folks who drive down from the twin-Cities---and that is a whole lot further than SW Michigan (albeit you'll have Chicago to contend with...).

Wow, your car sounds angry. :D Do you pass sound?

It does look like you need some better control of the springs. It's nice have top drivers in your region isn't it?

We were at like 98dB last time it was measured...so, yeah it's close.

Yes on the springs--and yes on the drivers; that is one of the reasons that we have not really travelled with the car. Once it is sorted locally, it will sort of be automatically sorted for the Bigger Stage (other than adjusting for concrete)...

...been thinking about it, and we've gotten to this point in less than 20 local events (5-6 runs per event and two drivers)...so really, we've come a long way pretty quickly for not having anything but a vague recipe to follow. I think there is another second in the car--we're also going to try some 15" wheels and shorter tires (very slightly narrower)...but that should take about 20-25 pounds of unsprung weight off the car...and give us a little shorter gearing to get off the corners better. If I'm right, that should put us somewhere in the hatch of the faster Civics. :^D
