video game section?

I couldn't help but notice that in the off-topic section a rising number of video game related threads were popping up. I wanted to suggest adding a video game section in the community sub-forum. I know this is a car forum and there already is an off topic section, but I figure if there's a humor section why not a video game section? I think both would see equal activity. I realize this is more work for mods and wanted to offer myself up to keep this theoretical section in order so as not to add to the work load. I think there are enough gamers on this site to warrant such a section. Also, this fall there are a ton of highly anticipated games coming out and I think the number of video game related threads will only increase. Thanks a lot for the time!

i dont see enough video game threads to warrant an entire section for itself on a car forum (boom07)

there was talk about this back when there were a ridiculous amount of threads about gt4/nfsu/forza etc...but this is a car forum...

well here's the thing, people were making threads for individual games and were asked to lump them together so as not to clog the off-topic section. This is why the xbox360/wii threads are so busy. There were a couple "official *insert game here* threads but unless they saw a lot of activity quickly they were just combined into the one big thread. I was going more on activity though. The humor section for instance has a lot of threads but most see less than 10 responses. I think a video game section would see much more activity and there are enough gamers on here to keep a place busy where they can start threads about specific games all in one area as opposed to mixed in with other stuff. That's my rational anyway. Also, while this is a car forum and I fully realize that, look at how busy the video game threads are.....

I wanted to start a poll in the off topic section or at least post in a few of the v/g threads to draw attention to this suggestion but wasn't sure how you guys wanted me to go about it.
