Vibrant Exhaust Install

lol its funny you just said that because, long story shot I stumbled upon a post about JoeP MBC being flamed and ended up reading the whole thing (really really long lol) and i decided to just ask CS what they could do.. so i sent an email because my cell reception in my dorm is not great and I just don't feel like talking to anyone on the phone atm, who knows..

Side note: I was on such a roll, I went ahead and asked Vibrant about an issue that I had, which im not sure if it is common or even an actual issue, which in short. was my exhaust came in a banged up box, about a 1" dent on the muffler along with some smaller ones and it only came with the last (axel-back) connection gasket and bolts and I don't really feel like spending $20 ($5 for gasket,$8-10 for shipping +tax w/e else..) just for a new gasket because I'm unable to find any that would fit locally, (I don't even really mind the small dents, i mean i notice it and it kinda bugs me, but I can see how it can happen when shipping something like this but as far as missing parts, if that is the case then...) I usually or almost never even attempt to confront or address these situations but i felt like I should give it a shot... I'll see what happens

took mine to an exhaust shop and they put new hangers on! no more rattle! also my buddy's shop fixed the cell from the o2. the wires had to be extended further.

haha! nice, after dealing with CS and i told them the issue i had with ripping one, they said that the actual warranty was no good just because of "user misuse" or w/e it was, but they said i could have a hanger for free i just need to pay shipping.. soon no more vibration against that damn crossmember, now just to call vibrant about that gasket and im all set.

Update: Vibrant called today after sending them another email about calling them, and the guy was very nice, said that the exhaust was actually suppose to come with the O2 sensor extension kit, and all of the gaskets/bolts/instructions ect...(would have saved some time/headache if it came first time but oh well, hazards of shipping big bulky things) which they are now sending out today to me for free, which is really nice, i already re-routed the o2 sensor so i didn't really need the extension kit, but i might just put it back to the way it was so i can keep the stock mounting places and know that it is out of the way just for kicks. but to anyone that doesn't get these things with the exhaust,(i ordered from PG) just give vibrant a call and explain to them, and they should take care of it.. pretty cool

Thread two nuts onto the stud and using two wreches cinch them together they will lock onto the thread...then back the bolts out using one wrench.

lol just saw this post iamspeed, after i replied to the PM, but ya if you didn't already just call them, and basically just tell them you didn't get it all, and they said they would sent the stuff right away when i told them that, after i had sent them a letter, but if they don't send them right away or anything just call back and remind them, and really just make sure you get all of the gaskets AND bolts because even though i asked them for bolts too with the gasket they just sent the gasket.. (bolts don't really matter too much but its a pain to have to mix and match, easier if they just sent you what you were suppose to get).. oh and also, just get lock washers for the allen head bolts for the spipe.. but everything else and more is in the PM i sent ya, and sorry I can't stop by to help, school right now is killing me with all this crap load of work they are giving me now, along with me being in Willimantic atm, just no time.. gl
