I believe its a general rule -- over 150 mph ... but it might be et based as well -- basically anything in the 9s

Im assuming that only for cars(not motorcycles)...9 sec doesnt appear to be as hard tog et as 150mph though.

I've seen many a V8 dragster and hayabusa hit 9s at the local track, but Ive never seena anyone go over 150mph(shocked)

Don't you also need a rollcage if your running 11's or lower? Or maybe it was 10's....idk I can't remember all the rules. All I know is that my slow car just needs a helmet on my head lol

Yes that EVO def needs a cage -- i think its if u runs 10s or lower you need it.

usually its 13.99 and lower for a helmet, and 11.99 and lower for a cage, but rules var a bit from track to track...

As per NHRA's website --- if you run 10.99 or faster you need a cage ... if you run 9.99 or faster you need a chute as well However, some of that I question since I dont know of too many cars running 10s that have aftermarket rear axles?!

You also need one of the racing jumpsuits that is flame retardent. I remember when Hans Dahlback raced here at Moroso...they almost didn't let him go because there was some debate as to whether his suit was approved by whatever organization regulates that stuff.
