very expensive insurance for CX-5?

I’m really surprised they don’t have the CX-5 in their system yet! Anyway, my advice is look into combine policies. You can get cheap auto and home insurance by purchasing from the same agency and get even lower rates if you join the AARP (for those 50 and over). I do think leasing always sides on the higher premium side.

I moved 7 miles away and my coverage went up $86 for six month period. I just emailed my Allstate agent and told him that I found a better rate with USAA. I only did a quick online quote through USAA, so I had no solid numbers. The Allstate agent basically called me out and didn't budge. I'll have to do some serious shopping around.

Assuming an insurance agent has a magic wand that can lower your rates is foolish. Also, if your rates are high blaming it on the car is only one factor of about 10 major things that affect your rate.

I'm paying 85/month with State Farm for my cx-5 and I'm 24. I've had the policy since I turned 16. I was paying 73/month for my '08 mazda 6 before I traded. I'm fine with the increase it is a brand new car- higher replacement part cost.

I traded my wifes crappy 2009 Hyundia Accent when I purchased the CX-5, and I was surprised, when my insurance cost actually went down by about $50. (Progressive Insurance)
She now drives my VW Rabbit, and I have the Mazda.

I am in mn and a 43 yo male with a clean record. I pay 66.00 a month on a policy with my home. I had a 2001 ford escape xlt and that was 500.00 A year for full coverage.

Man, this insurance stuff confuses me. I had Geico for 9 years before I just switched to Allstate. Geico had me quoted at almost twice what I currently pay with Allstate. Now I pay a cool $53 a month for the 2013 CX-5, $56 a month for the 2014 6. Same exact coverage as Geico, I'm wondering if Geico had my demographics all effed up or something? with them I was paying $100 a month, per car. I just thought it was regular until I signed up for the forum and saw the low numbers everyone else was paying. Took some action now I'm good but still feel like a sucker paying those high premiums for no reason. I should sue lol

Insurance for my 2013 Mazda CX-5 isn't bad at all. I'm insured through Progressive, 25 years old, live in Central Florida, and haven't been involved in any accidents.

Coverage: 25/50/25, loan payoff coverage, $100 comprehensive deductible, $250 collision deductible, roadside assistance. Running about $49 a month. That's including my 10% Snapshot discount, and I pay the 6 month premium in full every time for more savings.

I shop around every time I have to renew. Geico quoted me almost the exact same rate, but I've been with Progressive for about 2 years so I choose to stick with them. Allstate and State Farm on the other hand want about 2-3x more per month compared to what I'm paying now.

2014 CX-5 GT in Michigan for 29 yr old $117 a moth. I was paying $100 per month for a 2004 Cadillac CTS, so I am happy paying only $17 for a new car. I used State Farm.

paying 336 p.a. for husband & wife cover 100 excess. 9K miles p.a.

the insurance group for this car has been lowered in the UK because of the SCBS technology included as standard. My previous Kia Carens cost 300 fully comprehensive with same conditions.

Bear in mind if you insure a new car and write it off the insurance have to pay out market value. if follows that after 3 years the cost to replace the car with one of a similar cstandard have reduced around 50% therefore after a few years the insurance payout amount has reduced for the companies and thus you'de expect a lower premium.

We use Liberty Mutual, in Michigan which, as others have noted, is relatively expensive. But even with Broadened Collision and Comprehensive, towing, medical and property coverage our premium is only about $450/yr.
