Happened to be poking around the ODI site ad saw this complaint. Looked it up further.

Probably every make and model has complaints like those against it.
Until there are enough cases like that, Fed will not investigate it at all.
This could be real or false. No one can be sure.

We still have the Prius that had the pedal replaced by Toyota.
People need to know how to handle UIA situation like that when it happens.
1) shift to N (don't turn engine off - you lose the power brake)
2) brake! (use emergency brake if you have to)

Is this guy claiming his car continued accelerating with "the car in park"? I don't think that is possible in park.

Yeah I don't buy it. If your car starts accelerating and you can't seem to counteract it, the first obvious thing to do is put it in neutral, brake, e-brake, turn engine off, and if all else fails... bail out.

I think if this was a real problem, it would have been posted on here at some point.

Maybe his problem is too legit to quit.
