Using Oil Filter Mount from Ford Focus...

So after looking at the spin-on oil filter upgrade for the MS3 on the SU website, I was wondering if this is the same unit that can be found on a 2005+ Ford Focus with a Duratec engine. How about a Mazda 3? This piece would be allot cheaper at a junkyard and relatively easy to remove. Any thoughts?

The MS3 spin-on oil filter bracket is different from the MZ3 due to the oil cooler connection up top. I think when I purchased mine, it was about $15-20 more than the MZ3 one because of this.

I second that. Sure makes oil changes easier. Teamed up with the QuickOilDrain valve, they're a cinch.
