And your WOMP will hopefully arrive at the same time. Coincidence? I think not!
lol it works out pretty well huh

s***, id think about selling you mine for $8,000.

White 02, 5spd, with 71,000 miles. in great shape...

Got mine for 10k with 35k miles on it. Best deal by far compared to what I was shopping around with. Autoway wanted 13k for one with 50k miles on it and they dont haggle. Ended up going with a private owner who took real nice car of it. He was able to sell it for a smaller buck because his relative worked for mazda and he bought two at one time. I got mine for under blue book value.

Yeah, I wanted to get a private seller with a cherry of a car but hey, when you're looking for used cars, you gotta work with what's in yor area.
You got a great deal.

I'm still amazed that you have no door dings at all and you're seven times the mileage!

Yeah, the prices are that high...

I searched and searched for the best deal I could get. I went from dealer to dealer most who had them sold them the same day. The place i finally got mine at had 5 of them when i called at 10 am, when i got there at 4:30 they had 3 left. The one i drove home had a sticker price of 17,400 (with 40k...) i offered 13,000 and left with it. the other 2 on the lot were 02's with under 20k mi and they were in the 15-18,000 range, seriously if he didnt take my offer i was buying a new 3i (once you add in the incentives it would have cost less). They know these cars sell so they put high prices on them and people pay it. So i paid, on friday, 13k for a '03 p5 with 40k mi (with all the options)... and i love my car

You are right. These cars are still hot. They are nice cars, you will have to admit. I'm selling mine to upgrade to a convertible. Pristine shape 2003 with plenty of warranty left. Pretty much justed used by myself to get back and forth from work on the highway, If anyone is interested, I've put some pictures up at http://davidslist.m-powered.com/Protege5.html along with a little bit more information. I'm just starting to advertise it now, but it seems that these cars sell pretty quickly.

I agree with the comments made earlier that it is better to pay a little bit more for a car without any "history", especially if you are planning on keeping it for a while. Amortized over the life span of the car, it is a small price to pay for the peace of mind.

Best wishes,
David

wow, if i wanted to get rid of my car, i would go down to jersey if they are selling for that high down there.

they are nice cars.....i agree with the above comments!!!
