my gawd, 2474 lbs for the base MX-5?!?!?!? 25/30 mpg??? 170hp 2.0 MZR w/ 7000rpm redline???

and the interior seating dimensions are practically identical to my 8! that means I can actually fit *comfortably* in this car!

I think mazda just hit this one out of the ballpark... great job mazda

so it's 200lbs heavier than the 1st NB (1999 car) with 28more hp, and the same redline.

I have to admit, I didn't like the looks at all in the beginning, but it's growing. the front still needs help... Looks liek a bar of soap

I'm waiting for drive impressions... that'll be the final decision maker. At leats it'll be easy enough to bolt up the 2.3L

Oh well.. eitherway, I'm keepin my MSM

Note, only the 6spd, Suspension pkg and ABS. That's going to be the "race" version that'll be the rare one to find (and $$ ) here in a few years.. Kinda liek the "R" models or the 99-sport are right now..
