wow this forum has a lot of feedback I love itlol. Yeah there many dealers around where I live, I only e-mailed one of them and he was the one who told me: (direct quote) "Thank you for the quick response but we will pass on your offer. These are a special vehicle and until the new generation of Speed-6 arrives in two years, the existing ones that are far and few will hold their price." So according to this plug, they're coming in 2 years :S?
And yes I'm located in Ontario, southern specifically, so pretty close to the border. As for preference, I wanted a luxury/some what fast car... I also like the fact that it's almost a 'sleeper' without the huge evo wing or massive stupid looking hoodscoop... I also wouldn't want an evo or sti because my friends own those cars, so I wanted to be different.
If you live in Southern ON, shoot across the border and look at some southeast MI cars. I know of a few MS6s for sale at dealers for much less. There was a Ti Grey GT with nav for $18,500 at my local dealer.
I've never heard of a 200 lb. difference in models. There's really no major option differences except leather, adv. keyless, and heated seats, and the option for a moonroof.
No, both models (Sport and GT.) come with the option for navigation. GT models had the option for a moonroof as well.
ic ic. Interesting to learn all of these things, I'm pretty much decided I want this car now, I'll definetly look into calling the border and finding out the process of bringing the car over.
Another question I have (pure noobish) is how is the legit key for the speed 6? I remeber reading somewhere that it was some kind of card? and that you turn a knob to turn it on? and It unlocks when your in range?

Nope. I got mine right here in St. Louis. I ran the salesman ragged for about 9 straight hours. He finally saw it my way and the price was reduced from $21,000. I also got an extra $2,000 on my 3-series BMW trade-in.
nice, the reason I ask is because I had talked my buddy into buying one, and there was one in OK close to the same milage, for the same price. but someone picked it up before we got down there.
I picked up mine last October. 2006, Black, one owner, 42k miles. Price was $14,900. I guess it was eight months ago. Price will just keep going down.

i know around my area the is a 06sport with 17k and their asking 16k
with navi.? with the keyless entry, leather heated seats, moonroof? how many kms? or I guess miles lol

It was a GT, so the leather, heated seats, and adv. key is standard. I believe it had the optional moonroof and nav system. I want to say it had 25k miles on it.
Update! After the one dealer who claimed the new speed6's were arriving and until that time he won't drop his price, I never responded back to his rejection. I just got an e-mail today from him asking me if I was still interested or if we could work out a deal . haha, looks like he hasn't had all the best luck selling it.
I also looked at his used dealership website and it turns out that he has 3 of them, all for $22,995.00...

well if it helps I'd be willing to pay the full price cash on the spot if the price can really be decreased. The most I would do would be around $18,000. If not, maybe around a $10,000 to $15,000 down payment and finance over a year or two.
