Update the Gracenote database to the latest version

I’m not familiar with that the newest Mazda infotainment systems. Can you not play your music from a USB memory stick through the type usb-c ports?
Thanks for the response. I've not tried but the handbook says the usb-c ports are for charging only.

The usb-c ports in the rear are for charging only but the ports in the front console can be used for usb audio and for an Android Auto or Apple Carplay connection. I suspect that one of the front ports can be used for Gracenote database updates but I haven't attempted this yet on my 2024.

The ports in the center console (storage box) should work for that but if they are C you need proper usb stick thats C or adapter

I have 2019 CX5 Signature.
Just uploaded 74.00.324A No issues
Region is NA Canada
Now want to upload update to Gracenote.
Format fresh USB key. Same one I used to load update to firmware. Download and load Gracenote_ADR_January2022.up. Also tried Gracenote 1.1.1.03399_NA.mcg
Car recognizes the USB key.
I select Update under Setting/System.
Does not recognize the file.

What am I doing wrong?? Thanks

The update is for the latest MAZDA CONNECT infotainment system.
You need another version to update the older infotainment system which is called MZD Connect.
