unichip question

Ok so i just bought a unichip and installed it, it was cake. First problem is that my boost controller doesnt work at all. I saw that one other person had this problem and they thought it was the head gasket. But I have no other problems with the car so im pretty sure thats not my case. Second thing is if your car kicks a cel light will it mess up the unichip map? My car runs fine for a few hours. But then when the cel comes on for not having cats on my exhaust the car starts to buck. I kno it needs to be tuned, but I would figure that if the tune was that bad then the car would buck all the time and not just b4 the cel comes on. If anyone knows if a cel will will affect the unichip (or not having cats) please let me kno. Thanks

bucking is bad

what rpms are you at when it starts bucking?? High boost or low boost??

check the way the solenoid is hooked up it, the vacuum line could be routed wrong. Look up spark plug non fouler trick, that should cure your cel problem.

bucking is at all rpm but only when your trying to hold ur speed steady. I talked to jdmsam today and he expalind to me a lot of what is prolly going on. with my mods and the base map and the ecu taking into account the cel for the cats i think thats what was doing it. and im hoping that the turbo moduel just needs to be programmed to boost i was told that it may not be programmed to run any more boost that stock so ill call my tuner and see what he says. thats for the info guys
