Unichip problem and question

So i got my unichip yesterday and installed it. I happen to have one that the switches are the wrong way, but after figuring it out i noticed 2 things.

on using map A low or high boost i get an idle drop. it dips down from about 800 down to 500, stumbles, then catches itself and goes back up to 700-800 and repeats

on high boost i repeatedly hit fuel cut - boost spikes to around 14-15psi and drops to 11-12. low boost works fine, no cut with boost reading 7.5ish spike dropping to about 6psi. i hit fuel cut too many times to be comfortable with so its now on low boost until i figure out what is going on.

i tried to post this on unichip forums also but i havent gotten the confirmation email yet...

please help!! i've searched and searched and i cant find anything pertaining to my concern

You need to have the EBC adjusted. Call Unichip and talk with them about this. Don't pay them, it should be free to do this. The idle sounds like a vacumn leak or the PCM relearning to idle. The stock PCM takes a few cycles to smooth out operations.

I would check all your vac/boost lines for leaks, check your high boost level and then proceed from there.

I did check the vac lines with brake cleaner spray and no leaks anywhere. i suppose i should have put that in the original post, sorry

Update

i called unichip and got a guy named tony who was extremely helpfull. he had me test the resistance between 2 wires on the pnp harness loom that plugs into the unichip with an ohm meter to find that its wrong and i have a bad pnp harness. yay for knowledgable tech support!!!

off to fedex i go on my lunch hour :D

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM RUNNING OPEN EXHAUST WITH MY U.C. SO I PUT IT BACK ON AND THE FUEL CUT WENT AWAY BUT I LOST ALOT OF PULL THROUGH 1-2-3 GEARS. iTS GOING TO COST 600 TO GET IT TUNED AND I HAVE TO DRIVE TO ATLANTA TO GET IT DONE. i DUNNO ABOUT U.C.
