Does anyone know if the different brand of underdrive pulleys give much more difference or are you just paying for the brand?
Looks? who the hell is going to see it? I haven't seen mine in over 4 years, yet it's still there.there isnt gonna be much of a difference anyways, its mainly for looks.

You put a lightweight underdriven pulley on your crankshaft for way more than looks. The stock pulley is a brick.doesnt change the fact, why do people paint their blocks? u cant see them when the motor is assembled. i never said u could see it but it looks better then stock correct. LOOKS
do any of yall know where i can find one for a 1.6l?
has any one had a obx one on there for a long time, have they held up? or is UR a better brand to go with

I have the UR UDP and it definitely makes a difference. It allow the engine to rev like crazy! Since are engines do not make power down low like a V6 or V8 it helps to get the revs up. It is definitely lighter than stock, and of course 15% smaller too. It almost completely lowers the AC power drain when you turn it on. It will lower the alternator output to 13.3 though.
This mod really shines more when you have other mods like CAI/VTCS removal/header/mid-pipe/exhaust/tune.
