underdrive pulleys

How hard is it to install them kuz it looks like you might have to drop the engine then install them and put the engine back in. Correct me if im wrong.

Hey guys sorry about never posting any dynos. at the moment i dont have them on my comp. I have a very busy work schedule and i just got back from Australia. I personally like them and have felt gains in the 3500-5000RPM range. What those numbers are i just can't say yet until i get the chance to get it dynoed....Oh wait actually Nick from Draxas will be installing the new header on my car in a week or so(once he has some more in stock) and he will dyno it then.

Once again I am sorry for not keeping up on my posts. and as soon as the header goes on i will let you know those #ers. oh and FYI i have the "race" series pullies which you cannot use the A/C with this kit. unless someone can find a belt about an inch smaller to adapt.

oh and no you install them from the bottom.

So did you install them yourself or have someone else do it? Kuz I just ordered the race kit also and was wondering the difficulty level of the install whether it is to hard for me to install it myself. If you dont mind could you post things that I should watch for stuff that will make the install go smoother.

You'll need air tools to get the bolt holding your stock crank pulley in place. Other than that it isn't too bad (I speak from experience installing a UDP in my protege). I'm sure whoever sells it tells you what new size belts you need and just pick them up before you attempt the install.

i had a local shop install them. took an hour. make sure you let srmotorsports know what state you live in so they send you the right kit

stock....except like i said about the A/C belt...u cant connect the A/C belt to the pulley

I also got them but don't have a/c so the belt ''problem''
is not a major issue for me! I also have the race pulleys,
however these will be installed in march with my exhaust/header
