What do you guys with dogs and lumber and garden haulers think?

I would be unhappy to have straps outside the car, possible damage to the paintwork.

I'm after one myself, but one that can be left in place permanently, and allows the seats to still fold individually.

It looks like a waste of time and money.

If I get the cargo area dirty I just vacuum it out when I get a chance. Not a big deal - it's a car/truck, not a piece of jewelry and it will be in the recycling bin soon enough.

But I do keep the passenger area clean so guests don't have to worry about getting filthy.
