LOL doesn't even compare to a guy at my old High School.

Ok this is kinda of fuzzy with concerns to the type of car, but the list goes something like this:

7 Camaros
2 Vettes
1 Miata
And another car.

All before his Junior year.
Thats around 10 cars in a 2 year stretch. His dad owned a few Dealerships etc, and the kid was a dick but close friend to a former Girlfriend. Hell he got pulled over on Homecoming cause he floored his Z28 with a cop right behind us. Everyone else saw the cop expect him or he didn't care.

I had to buy my first car...a crappy $300 76 ford f-150 that threw the crank and caught fire/broke down on a regular basis...

sure was fun to haul freshmen to lunch in the bed tho!

But there's a certain amount of pride that I take in the fact that I did buy all my vehicles myself/get my OWn insurance policy. Sure, it was no new or even late model car, but I did it. and I worked on it.

My first car was a $700 '66 Mustang GT Fastback that had to be brought home on the back of a flatbed. Took 3 months to get it road worthy.But by the end of my senior year when that car was done (mostly at least, but is a restoration ever really done) all of those rich kids were jealous of my s***! In fact at graduation 2 different kids parents offered to by the car from me. One for their kid, the other for themselves. Did eventually sell it, though now I wish I hadn't.

Yeah I know what you mean. My first car was a '67 Firebird coupe. I paid 4 grand for that car. Plus I did some minor restoration to it. Regardless I put a lot of MY time and money into it. Everyone loved it. Now, I wasn't the type of person that would have had enemies in high school, but one day I came out to go to lunch and someone had thrown a lit book of matches on my trunk lid! Needless to say, it burned right through the paint and I had to pay for it out of my pocket. People have no respect. The worst part is, I never found out who did it. I can only assume that it was done by some kid out of jealousy..?? Since I cared too much about my car's well being, I stopped driving it to school after that.
But anyway, I ended up selling it not too long ago and I really wish I hadn't either.

I wish people would stop taking stuff out on other peoples cars.
Can't we just get a little R E S P E C T ??

my younger step brother just got a Del Sol that was previously modded out to 'look' like a race(rice) car. well, its being sold before he can even get a license to drive it because he's not going to learn anything about driving if he thinks he can outrun anything that gets in his way.

i wish everyone could start out humble, i'd been driving an 88 camry for the last 2 years, its tought me alot of respect for driving because of how restrictive its abilities were. now that i've got my 03 p5 i feel like i deserve it after saving up and dealing with what i had for the time being.

you can't learn to appreciate the best when you've never had the 'just enough to get by', and that applies to everything in life

I am one of the richer kids at my school and I hate how everyone f***s with my MP3. Everyone is like oh look how nice. Lets scratch it or write on it or put hate flyers, we have a Import Car Club and I run it so i get ICC hate mail. I'm a good driver never wreck. My brothers tear up my car and it pisses me off. First 2 weeks my lil' bro drops a pair of roller blades on my car and scratches the hell out of the fenders. The next month a flag pole flys off of the 2nd story and hits my hood putting a huge ding & taking off the paint. Then a grocerie cart hits my rear bumper and takes a dime of paint off. I hate car haters... I know about the kids who wreck all there damn cars there retards and deserve to die... We beat this one kids ass who key'd my friends GSX with a screw driver. from left head light around the back and to the right head light. that kid paid dearly for his mistakes... that was fun.

yea thats pretty bad. at my school our parking lot is full of BMW's, S2000's, Mercedes, New Chevy trucks, tons and tons of new cars. There is this once chick at my school who had a new acura legend and she ended up totalling it and bought an older accord and put some nice rims on it, totalled that and is now looking for a newer mustang GT....we were sitting in class one day and she was actually bragging about this...she was looking through her bag and pulled out 900 dollars she didnt kno her mom put in there....i guess the money was from her rims that she sold..but i mean c'mon...she is so spoiled its disgusting.. and what also sux is she gets really good grades and goes out and parties every weekend to the point where she cant even remember her name....

Highschool is possibly the worst time in anyones life. Things are often taken to the extreme to creat an image, and in the cases you are describing, keep an image. It's all about who you are, but not to yourself, but what you want other people to think of you. In this respect, Highschool is a training ground for the real world, its just unfortunate that in comes in such concentrated doses. I chose to kind of be in the middleground of it all when I was in Highschool, and I still disliked the experience...theres just no winning.

Well what I hated was when I worked my ass off at Target and bought the 95 jeep grand cherokee I had. I put black brush guard and tail light guards and a nice system, and it had leather seats. I loved that thing. But people would be like, wow what does you parents do. I'd always say what the **** does that have to do with MY car, I pay for this s***. And now the same with my MP3(only I dont work at Target )

Now my friend, he's a little rich boy, so damn spoiled. But he's cool with it and doesnt let it go to his head. But his senior year in high school he had 2001 dodge dakota magnum V8. Then he got a 97 nissan 240sx. ok now listen carefully, He wrecked it and while it was in the shop he totaled his dads car, then he got his car back and totaled it, and they just bought him a 98 240sx SE. Jeez it is beutiful I hope he doesnt wreck it for a while

Welcome to how my life was in highschool.. I eventually said **** it, and got my own life, and started getting my own s***. Stopped caring what my parents though, cause it would never be good enough!

yeah, spoiled weenies...their parents are more hard headed than them...heres a list of the nicer cars around (btw, anyone in arlington will tell you martin is the rich school) 2 people have escalades, a couple s2000s, a couple heavily modded supras, tons of lifted modded tahoes, several lightnings, 3 or 4 wrx's, 2 modified, a several brand new bimmers, one girl has a mercedes, some short bastard has a 97 m3 and he can hardly see over the steering wheel...it all just makes me mad

Wow!! I begged like a dog, but wasn't allowed to drive (or own) a car until I got out of highschool .... it was either the bus or the parents... poor me, lucky them!! :'(
