UEAT1023 Super Build Thread

check it before you wreck it.
anyways, there was someone who made a thread asking the same question maybe in october, the answer was basically no, and even if you could you wouldnt want to. if i recall correctly its because the pins holding the pistons to the rods is not the same on aftermarket vs stock, so if you wanted to half-forge you would probably need custom rods (at least special order).

Dude, dont go off on me. I have been on this forum for a while and I know what I read sometimes i get mixed up but man you really typed that you were going to half ass forge it!!!!!!! and then you talked about re using the stock pistons?!?!? You need to calm down I read what you wrote and responded I wasnt bad mouthing you or anything. You need to read what YOU wrote before you come in here and start spouting off. (braindead)

O s***, you're completely right. I did not see that. My bad.

I only asked because I remember reading someone was we only need to really replace rods because blah blah blah.

Plus, whenever someone writes in CAPS, it comes off a little harsh. Whether you mean to or not.

And yes, i have been braindead this week from a series of tests. Good call. I meant to write I will not half ass it.

WTF in their right mind would write I'm going to half ass my motor right? I was not in my right mind.
