Clear isn't a color.

I would assume it would look pretty bad considering all you'd have is dull looking body panels. That's why there is paint in the first place. The clear on top of real paint is a novel idea, it's kind of like scotchguarding your car.

Can clear vinyl even be done? I haven't really seen it. I mean there's the stuff that rockblocker uses but that's some 3M film.

I would worry about the clear yellowing and needing to be replaced every 2-3 years. That would be so sweet though to not have to worry about being gentle when washing the car

clearcoat scratches much to easily. I wih we had durable (and not environmentally friendly of course) paint.

It looks shockingly good on that skyline though. Looking at the last pics I would not have known that it wasn't paint.

confused.... did you go crazier last time, or this time?

From what I recall from my feeble memory, last time you had tape on the sides as well, and from the pics it looked like you lined up the edges a little better last time....

Have you considered driving around Omaha this way? lol (boom07)

I went crazier this time.

This was last time:

ANd I did a hell of a lot better job lining up the lines. The edge on the CF/Paint barrier is perfectly lined. It took me like a half hour to do the perimeter. lol. As for driving around omaha like this? I did it all today and got a lot of wierd looks! (thumb)
