types of gauges

Just wondering what you guys think the most important 3 gauges are. From what I have seen, boost / A/F / oil pressure seems like the most common but i keep seeing people with exhaust temp, volt meter, and others. Anyway I dont want to throw too much money into gauges so what are the most important ones / ones I should have with my current mods (other than the obvious boost gauge). The A/F is really only necessary when you have a tune / modified boost right ? What is the significance of oil pressure.

My thoughts are boost, oil press, and exhaust temp.

I'd get the DH for A/F personally. The gauge itself is nothing more than a lightshow, and usually its nice to datalog what your A/F is.

Yeah I was just trying to get some cheap gauges instead of getting the dashhawk. I guess I will just get a boost gauge and the dashhawk for everything else.

Gauges are kinda 'six to one, half dozen to the other' IMO. I want the pod on top of the dash, because 1) I think it looks nice, and 2) I really don't use mine. I've talked with a few guys who've owned FI cars over the years and the general consensus is that boost/oil press/EGT are the way to go. Now, with the DH available, you really can get away without any gauges, but its not as nice to look at.

Unless....someone comes out with a DH pod...(shocked)
