TWM short shifter

Alright so what I gathered from searching was that if I'm getting a twm 2nd gen ss for my msp I would get the mp3 one correct? I was just curious to know then wouldn't the pics of the mp3 with the short shifter on their site be the same height if I put it in my msp (minus the mp3 shift knob in the picture and imagining a new one in it's spot.) I know I would need a new shift knob. And while we're on the subject of shift knobs anyone know where I can get this? I found this picture while searching for short shifters. It looks like a globe x but I couldn't find one polished like that.

Wow, must be a b**** to shift in that car! Anyway, I can't find that exact shift knob... I used to own it. But this is what I have now:

i dont think the MP3 and the MSP have the same threading....

They dont i just tried my msp knob on my friends mp3 yesterday didnt work.
