It's not worth it to respond to your B.S. rant, but...
There are many people on here, who have a lot more experience than you or I, who can tell you the turkey is not compressor surge. What you are hearing is the blow off sound bouncing of the fins (on the intake side), but it is not enough of a force to slow down the compressor fins (actually, blowing off into the intake may help you spool more), causing surge. The fins never get stopped, or even slowed down, really. When the BOV is re-directing the blown off compressed air (you know, recirculated) back into the CAI, or stock intake box, the excess, blown off air goes back into the intake tract, making the turkey sound, you are calling comrpessor surge. Compressor surge is when the compressed air tries to go back in the way it came out, or when the turbo is producing more boost than it can get out, and into the engine.
I've owned a turbo car since I was 14 years old. My very first car was turbo. 2 turbo cars? lmao I have owned more turbo cars than most people have owned N/A cars.
Also, there are plenty of people who have been rocking the turkey for years, and over 100,000 mile MSPs with no dead turbo.
The car turkeys stock. How do you explain the stock cars that have no problems for effen years?!?!? Since they are all having compressor surge their turbos should all be dead right?
BTW how many turbo cas have you owned, or tuned?
So did RPM rip you off on an unneeded BOV set-up, is that why you are defending what they tell you?
