A friend and myself threw this on at work today where they have a lift. I love this mod I have to say. Seems to have added a good deal of mid-high end according to my and my girlfriends butt dyno. Sounds really mean too! (wow)


Ok I've added video. It's in cabin and a little hard to tell what's what if you're not used to the sound of the car but here it is. I'll do another later when someone else is there to hold the cam. I may also do a few with my actual digital video cam. This was made with a Kodak ZD710.



You can kind of hear the BOV and CAI also.

i'm sure this is dumb and a lot of people will roll their eyes, but i just want someone to clear this up for me. Whats the differences between a race/test/midpipe? Is one catted and one not catted, are they the same thing?

I would like to add another noobish question, will a test/race pipe throw a check engine light? Are there any problems with over boosting? What is teh main draw back from this mod?

No CEL since the second cat isnt monitored. I have had no problems with overboosting. The main drawback? More power/more noise...

And I wouldnt even call that a drawback cause thats what I would want out of the race pipe.

Sounds cool. I'm thinking of getting the Street Unit race pipe myself when its available.
