I've been running 4 washers since I installed, then tried out 2 and 3 washers, ended up leaving 2 in cause there was a bit of torque loss with 3 and 4.
As far as setup, there is nothing to change up except the washers (top screws off, add or remove washer = stupid easy). 2 bolts into the intercooler flange, big outlet into the recirc hose, and then there are two tiny holes you dont mess with that are cut into the side of the valve, THOSE are your vta holes. There is no adjustment for this valve (unlike the turbosmart 50/50). It dumps into the recirc until you boost high enough for it to open the other two holes. <-- hope that answered your question.

I've NEVER stalled or had idle problems. Only backfired a handful of times, shifting high at WOT
