About Last Year I Purchased A Turbo Xs Hybrid Blow Off Valve . Recently I Noticed My Boost Was Really Low On First And Second Gear And Was Peaking Around 13 Psi On Third Up. Now I Never Had This Problem During This Past Summer And Fall And Was Thinking It Was The Really Cold Weather. So Just The Other Day I Took Apart The Blow Off Valve And Noticed That The Piston Inside Of It Was Completely Bone Dry, Had Some Scuff Marks On It , And Had No Lubrication At All. When I First Purchased It There Was Some Kind Of Lube On It. So I Applied A High Temp Lube And Now My Boost Is Back To Normal. Now Am I Supposed To Keep Lubing This Product Every Now And Then Or Not? I Called Turboxs And The Guy I Talked To Said That There Isn't A Need To Lube There Product. So Am I In The Wrong For Lubing It Up Idk But It Helped Bring My Boost Back Up To Par.
Next On To How Much Boost I Am Supposed To Have Stock. I Have Read A Lot Of People Saying Stock Our Cars Can Peak At Anywhere From 16-18 Pounds. Well Idk What's Wrong With My Car But I Am Only Getting A Peak Of 15.5 Normally Or 16 On A Good Day. Never Have I Gotten Any More And It Usually Drops Off Only A Few Pounds Before Shifting. I Only Have On My Car An Aem Cold Air Intake And This Blow Off Valve. I Hope Everything Is Good With My Car Being It Only Has 9,000 Miles On It. Thanks For The Help!
