I have the 3071 but I would go to the 2871 if I could do it all over again. Reason? Spool time. Waisting all that upper RPM power without throttle control.

if you really want to upgrade do the gt28... spool time will be great and it won't choke out up top.

At the risk of being flamed for what some will think is a stupid comment...my GT3076R "bolt on" will be here on the 12th. I have two main reasons for selecting this turbo. 1)My bottom end is built and if I want to shoot for some High HP this turbo will not be a week link and 2)Turbo lag sucks if you're racing but on the street a bit of lag is fun. This turbo will provide a very punchy feel and a snappy powerband that is very fun to drive. Also this turbo doesn't spool until after the lean spot that our CDFP creates.

I have no lean spot.(usa)

I'm with jcgemt.. I'd do the 2871R, pretty much same hp compatibility, but spools a couple hundred RPMs sooner.

I have the 3071R installed, un-tuned since July.. runs like a champ. Begins to builds boost right below 3000RPM, so I am not really complaining. HUGE upgrade from the stocker though.

Bolt of for the speed 6? Without ATP downpipe?

I would love more feed back on this 2871. I would liek the 3071 but if the 28 is just as good great. DOn't want to blow my motor and want it to be better then the stocker the smoke is killing me.
