turbocharger in a mazda 3 s hatch?

Not quite sure if I am posting in the correct area, but I am looking to get a turbo kit for my 2008 mazda 3 s, is the 2.3l the same as the ms3 or is the stock mazda 3 engine not able to handle forced induction?

I'm not sure about SkyActive engines, but most vehicles can handle mild boost (say, 6-8 psi) with higher octane fuel (if not using super unleaded, already).

I always used premium fuel with my msp, looking at a mazda 3 now that I had to sell the car back, thank you for the insight ☺
