Turbo XS FMIC shoutout......

I just copied this post from the "other" forum to get more opinions out there, so...................

OK. Anyone and everyone with a Turbo XS FMIC please give thier thoughts? I am looking at this particular FMIC now, although I don't know what to think of the monstrous core (I've been told it's massive, no proof...). How are the power gains? Did it make a noticeable difference over stock? How's fitment and installation? I imagine heatsoak is nearly eliminated, but did it create more turbo lag? A little is OK. Anyone who has owned both an aftermarket TMIC and a FMIC I would ESPECIALLY like to hear from you all. Does the TMIC give alot more power? Also, most importantly, can you run a SRI (Cobb) and run your BOV in recirculation? I MUST be able to run recirc........... Anyway, your thoughts and opinions would be GREATLY appreciated

If I were getting a fmic right now it would be the turboxs. It has the largest core available on the market, yet isn't any more expensive than the others.

I have heard 20-30hp to the wheels off of the TXS FMIC.

The ATP FMIC is nice, but tiny...

the BEGI FMIC requires you to get rid of any intake you might have.

20-30 hp seems kind of high, that is really why I would be interested to hear peoples opinions who have one installed. Did you feel a difference over stock power? Lag isn't a big concern to me.

actually the Begi works with EVERY intake on the market.

Notice they (Turboxs) have increased their retail from 899.00 to 999.00. :( Turboxs FMIC I am going to have to increase prices as well eventually. For now I'll keep selling them at 899 with free shipping until I have to do another stock order. I think we may see the same for the RP and DP in the future.

Have it, Cobb fits, HKS recirs bov also fits with light modifications.
Over all huge core, easy install, very little lag added, haven't dynoed yet, can't guess about power because I modded to much at once then didn't drive the car for 2 months.

It almost looks like the i/c pipe might hit or is very close to the front part of the engine bay? Look's like the COBB rest's in the piping as well? Also, what kind of modifications did you have to do to the HKS in order for fit.

The boost tube is very close to the front radiator support. You have to trim off one of the stock airbox tabs to mount that pipe. Mine don't knock or buzz on the body but I have a deralin motor mount. The Cobb fits without touching anything so no worries there. The HKS is bigger than a stock valve so I got a BPV hose from StreetuTit. It was a generic 1 1/8" silicone hose and a wast of 20 bucks. I just rotated the BOV around and trimmed the hose a bit to get that kink you see in the pic smoothed out. On the transmission there is a bracket that I bent and trimmed to clear the throttle body but other than that follow the directions and you should be safe installing it.

you guys are making me go broke here... Im already spending a fortune on the car, yet the list just keeps expanding and getting more and more parts added to it.
