seeing how I am more than likely goin to buy a mazda3 hatch in 2 months or less...then turbo in 2-3...(cuz i wanna drive out the warranty). Most turbos are warranteed for 1 year.....but...I am goin to use my car daily...I only have/want one car...so how is using a turbo on daily drives? maintanance and such? or get a new turbocharger after so long? any info is appreciate!!!!!

Install it correctly and make sure you get a quality turbo. Then make sure you CHANGE YOUR OIL regularly, USE A GOOD OIL FILTER, make sure you have the mods to support your boost level.

I have heard of people having trouble with their transmissions after turbo install, but I believe everyone who had a problem had installed a findanza flywheel. You should be prepared to spend several thousand dollars if a problems does occur and be without your car for weeks. Obviously a turbo will completely void your manufacturers warranty.

It should be noted alot pepole have had some tranny problems with the three wiht out mods, I had to get mine fixed 17,000 miles but it was coverd under warrentey
