Turbo upgraded question

yeah blackzoomzoom knows his s***. His protege was a BEAST until it blew up on the dyno (twas a sad day in NEPOCland) and then he got rid of it soon after.

never once heard that complaint and i myself have not experienced it. turfburn gets his car to fire up everytime with 550s

I think he is talking about cold start issues. I think there have been one or two instances in witch there have been some minor problems. But I think if you know what you are doing you should be able to fire it up all the time with the proper enrichment maps in place.

This is very true from my experience ... cold start in very cold weather is more difficult, and takes more precise enrichment tuning, but there's no reason you can't get a good start ... in fact, cold start in warm weather (i.e. spring / summer / fall) with the Microtech is as good as (maybe better) than stock ECU.
