OK just in case anyone wants to know, the module on the protege 5 is located under the dash, drivers side, on the door frame side, up higher. I'll try to take a pic.
Its the same blue/white wire as the sedans.
I also wired it a little different than everybody else did. I heard people say that if you just cut it, then you could lock/arm your car when its running. So I wired a relay inline on the wire, so that when the car is running normally, you cant lock the doors with the keyfob, but if its running off the TT, then you can lock them. Just wire the relay so its normally "on" then have a wire running from the TT wire that is hot when its on. You will have to put a diode after where you tap into that wire before where it ties into your car. If you dont do this, you will get juice feeding backwards when the car is on and trip the relay allowing you to lock when its running normally. I can supply a diagram if anybody wants it.
It works great!
