Turbo Proteges Update

ambients flywheel is stock there is no data indincating that it was the turbo that caused the cracks though. The fidanza flywheel is weaker due to the fact it is made of lightweight aluminum.

Doh. How much weaker?

Koolindo..are you plannin on going boosted? I figured you weren't cuz you already got a flywheel and all that..it won't be a problem at all if you stay N/A but not sure if you put in a lot of boost and are a rough driver it could turn out to be pretty weak...

We use aluminum Fidanza flywheels in our turbo Miatas. 340 ft/lbs put through racing slicks with a strong pressure plate and no cracks. I would hesitate to condemn all aluminum flywheels because of one problem that hasn't been identified.

This is good news since I currently have the Fidanza Flywheel on my ride.
