Whuddup... I'm planning on turbocharging my 1999 Mazda 626... same FSDE engine as the Protege... I plan on using a T3 turbo in an intercooled system... for now the boost levels are going to be low, as I don't have the funds for a complete rebuild yet... plans are for a total build up of the entire engine... forged rods and pistons, copper gaskets, 5 angle valve job, P&P on IM and head for turbo applications... my main question is... would it be best for me to get a custom turbo manifold or should I buy an MSP one??? I know a T3 doesn't bolt up to the stock mani, but are there after market manifolds that it will??? I saw one on here a LONG time ago... it was a twistie manifold, but I can't find it again... (headshake and advice would be very helpful

Roni is selling a good turbo manifold from spool turbo, it fits garrett turbos. Its a nice manifold and very strong.

I would keep the boost on 6-8psi max. The 626 weights more than a protege, so, it will put the engine on more stress and it may blow.
You have one big advantage over us, you can retard the ignition easily. So...thats one of the 1st things I would do.

I'm not looking for a kit... I just need a turbo manifold... everything else has been taken care of
