Hi all, I just got my MSP last month, and my car has about 3K now, and I coudn't figure out its my turbo working or not... when I first got my car, the car runs fine, everytime I could feel the turbo start pushes the car once it's over 3000 rpm. But lately I've been having problems figuring it's my turbo it's on... It feels like it's on, but then the boost doesn't feel as strong as before and I have to rev it up higher then before to feel the boost. I could feel the boost once it's over 3500 rpm, but not stronge. and it really sound like the power it's coming for the motor. I took it back to the dealer and had them check, but the dealer said they counldn't find any porblems. So I'm not sure it's this normal. Any kind of info will help^^ and I'm great to be a new MSP owner!!

from the sound of it your sayin that from 3 or 3500 rpm the car just feels slow all the through the band? im guessing you got the pedal to the floor?
at 3-3500 rpm the ecu just dumps a iisshh load of fuel as a precaution and cause the car the run like junk.....this is at wide open throttle, but at partial throttle it feels alot better.

I Don't mash down the pedal. I step on the pedal just half way, and I hardly rev up over 4000 rpm...

Then whats the fun in driving your car if your only revving 4000 rpm.. Take it through all the gears from a dead stop to little before or right on that redline baby and the car Feels AWSOME!!!!! Pulls real night when you get on it.

had a problem like this.

itd help to have a boost guage too. my car wasnt making any boost at all and i couldnt figure out why. i checked everything and even ran an open wastegate thinking that my hks evc was at fault. turns out one of my intercooler pipes was loose all i had to do was tighten the hose clamp and "voila". check your ic piping first, if that doesnt help then reply.

^^^ I hate it when pipes pop off. The car seems to die and the turbo spools freely to the point of destruction. Arrrghh!!

I checked the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler and the ic to the intake manifold, but they are all in place, and doesn't feel like that are loose...=(

Hey,

Go back to your dealer and ask to drive another speed and compare. Don't let them tell you it's OK if it's not... The service dept. of my dealer runs away when they see me coming hehe
