Actually, you can convert it to wires by getting the Nology system. I did it and it wors great. You relocate the coilpacks, then run wires from the coilpacks to the plugs...The application you want to get is the Focus Pzev from them...

I understand, but as far as an actual upgrade... (doh)

It's the same Coil, Same Power, Further from point of spark with better wires.. SO I'm not sure It's really doing anything. To put an aftermarket MSD etc, you would have to do too much. Not bashing the Nodogy, It's super sweet to look at but IMO, not much more than looks...

ok today i went to the Custom Turbo manufacturer and for the complete system w/ the custom ecu system and extra tranny pan, is $3800 installed. It is so inexpensive because Bestway autosports hooked me up w/ the guy. I'll be running between 5-6psi of boost w/ the atx they have done one on the 2.0L focus same Duratec engine and the reason why i will only run 5-6psi is because any more bends the rods. I am gonna risk it and baby the car on every day driving until i get the rods and pistons from Marcy auto. No downshiftin or any ruff stuff....i'll have to save that for the races. so regardless of what y'all think i'm goin 4 it. i will keep it posted on the progress and when its all done i'll have the pics up w/ the dyno. so wish me luck!!!
