Turbo leaking ? need info:)

Any info on this would help before i take it to the dealership...Have Cobb Downpipe installed and Dp gasket looks okay. i dont know whats causing the Burnt metal..

i think it's typical corrosion from all of the heat...thats what happens from all of the heat going through your to manifold to your turbo down your downpipe
 
Heat builds up then when it rains or when you wash the car, water drips on it and bam instant rainbow..so I wouldn't worry unless you actually hear a leak of sorts.

if u have ever seen a new turbo there is a special sealant/coating that they coat the hotside of the turbo with...the stock k04 is like a ******* blow dryer to the car when you are in boosting in the high rpms...temps can get up to 1700 degrees on the exhaust/turbo side...that is what burns off the coating and it gets all bad and kinda rusty looking....got it?
 
Have you ever heard that sizzle after you take the car through the car wash during winter that uses the jetted nozzles. I always clean under my hood afterwards and when you pop the hood the water runs down the inside of the hood and drip drip.

yeah i guess..i wouldn't know i haven't driven mine in the winter...
 
yea wish I could leave the speed garaged during winter but no chance, can't swing a second car.
