turbo LAG

[MSPzac]

my turbo seems to run bad unless its freezing cold in the early morning when i hit boost it just seems to cut out all power and kill my gas mileage does anyoone have some advice????

Is it really cold there, there's a lot of people complaining about hitting fuel cut recently. If so keep under the cut and you should be a lot better. If your stock you may be talking about heat soak of the intercooler. Give us a bit more details so we can help figure it out, we've gone through most every issue on the msp and someone will be able to help.

My car drives completely different when its cold outside and even the trans shifts completely different when its cold out to.... Engine temps dont see to affect either one for me.

My car always drove best those few minutes before it reached full temp, WHEN I had a stock intercooler. After I upgraded it hardle matters now, drives good all the time.

its pretty damn cold here and does sound like fuel cut. lil off topic but why have i not hit fuel cut haha its never once happend to me? and i agree with stealth the car does drive and feel different when it is cold

I hit fuel cut once on the 5 heading into Fresno, it was 2am and I was having fun with some girls in a 540 bmw. I hurt myself from how hard I hit the fuel cut. I had a bruise over my shoulder from the seat belt.

Upgrade that, I drove around with that crap on and a lot of mods thinking that it didn't make such a big difference at low boost. Man was I wrong, it makes such a huge difference. It's like a new car after the front mount, at the very least do the CustomMSP sidemount and some piping.
