Turbo Kit for Mazda 3 Hatch

Hey Guys, just wanted to let you know that I was hired by Mazda to get some new performance products out on the market. I am just waiting on my new Mazda 3 hatch to develop some product. My buddy in York, PA owns Wagner Motorsports and we are going to build a turbo kit for this car to sell. He does a twin turbo kit for the Mazda 6 already that is pretty nice so he knows Mazda pretty well. Also, next week at SEMA I will be talking to UniChip and they will be doing a chip for this 3 so it is very streetable and doesn't have any problems. Just wanted to give you the heads up on this new turbo kit coming down the line. Should be ready for sale in Feb 2006, so lets our Mazda 3 boys and gals knows whom are looking to make more power. Not sure on price point yet, but probably around $3,000 ballpark I would think

very very interesting.... maybe wagner can get straightened out... also their is one turbo kit out there now, and one more in the assembly stages as well. just an fyi... though i do like comp and the advantages to the consumer it brings.

one thing to keep in mind is that twin turbo v6 isn't tuned after a year. don't get me wrong it's drivable, just not able to do proper tuning yet as Unichip is still working on it. one thing that would keep cost down here is Unichip as it's much cheaper than a Haltech or Greddy unit that is out there. Wagners v6 setup i believe had a starting price without IC which keeps cost way down as well, though i don't know how it would be for the 3.

Wagner does some good looking stuff, but the mazda's are a pain in the ass and tuning is still the issue. running extra injectors (maybe 2?) to get the fuel right on the v6 proved to be too hard to setup on the AEM at first, so Unichip brought a solution. will be interesting to see how things end up for the 3 and if Wagner can hit that Beb timeline and that 3k cost mark.

They say they are not working with Wagner and are now working with Hass.

lol. wonder if the history of wagner made him change his mind. That makes me feel a lot better about his product. I thought there was somebody else working with Hass already.

just read that whole thread... goddamn now i remember why i spend most of my forum time over here... bunch of whiners and whorers (is that a word?) every other post was about either use my car or do it this way not this way, or make this not that... damn people need to lay off... hope this turbo and body kit work out well..
