Turbo install this weekend

Drilled a hole to run the wires for the turbo timer. Looks messy now, gonna file it down a little more even and clean it up.

I had the SRI mounted, but I'm waiting on smaller fans for the radiator before I put it back on, so I have room to put the new fans in. To call out out, or not to call out tomorrow. That is teh question, lol.

I was wondering what the average H.P. gain is after installing an HKS SSQ blow off valve?? Also, i am installing a boost controller to up my boost because as of now its the stock 6 psi, my car is completely stock, any suggestions on the amount of boost i should have?? Any cheap ungrades that have the best bang for their buck, please let me know, thanks.

dont up the boost because you dont have supporting mods (exhaust or intake or upgraded intercooler). adding a bov will not add ANY hp. alls it does is releve pressure on the charge pipes.

Thanks guys, she's def coming along well! The encouraging words make the hard work not seem so bad. Terbow is correct, as he should be since he had the setup before me, MAM. :p

Well sorry i forgot to mention that i do have an aftermarket exhaust for more air flow(silencer out of course), but its all the stock piping, still no up in boost??

well, no one can give u the answer. i say keep it around 7-8psi at most untill you get ems. our engines seem pretty tempermental, some people blow them on stock boost :(

Thanks Mark! If everything goes smooth once I put the fluids and all back in and she starts up, she'll be there Friday night. I just got the fans on, mounted the SRI and water coolant bottle, just waiting not-so-patiently for the UPS man, haha. I'm gonna jump him when he finally does show up!

Stupidity and frustration win again. I ordered the wrong part# for the banjo assembly. I was in such a rush to order everything and get it here I didn't double check one of the #'s. I've been to 2 speed shops and 2 bolt manufacturers, neither of which carry a 12mm x 1.5mm banjo bolt. I just ordered the correct one from the dealer, but now I'm back where I started, waiting on this ******* part. At least 2 of the 3 parts were correct, I could have possibly had her running tonight, but now it looks like an impossibility. Anyone have any ideas?

give the part number to a local dealer, they can overnight it for a charge. thenu donthave to wait for up.s

Well, I did order the part and it should be here tomorrow. Problem is, I took today off of work, and I probably could have finished. Now I have to get any work done before 1030 when I go in, or after 730 when I get out. OR wait till next Sunday, my next day off. I swear, life loves kicking me in the nuts.
