turbo gauge problems

i have an 87 turbo rx7 and my turbo gauge is no longer working... all my other gauges work... so i think that there is a bigger problem but i dont know what... so if anyone has a clue to whats going on plz let me know... this is my first car and i would hate to sell it or throw it away for something that might be easly fixable... plz help me

The stock boost gauge, that is what you are talking about right? The stock boost gauge is basically worthless. Get an aftermarket boost gauge first before you do anything else.

check to see if you have any kinks in the vacuum line, that happened to me

no need to toss a car beacuse the boost gauge isnt working. a new and better boost gauge is about 60 bucks.
