None of those mods you listed will really help w/ the turbo, unless the ECU is programmable.

I personally really like the hiboost kit. www.hiboost.com

The MAM kits are great too, though.

If you're looking for big HP, though, MAM is the way to go.

the sleeper kit is really nice from Metal Addiction, its puts good #S down too

He won't come anywhere CLOSE to running with an STi with a supercharger.

Go with a sleeper or thumper from MAM.

I can't wait to see the Thumper dyno numbers on a built engine.

You are going to need about 300 hp to run with something like an STi.:)

Right now, MAM has proven kits. If you are serious, you need a turbo set up and built engine.

Check out Beau's site and contact him if you really want a kit.

I am installing a sleeper kit on my P5. I will have an AEM engine management, Limited Slip differential (quaiffe), and a bunch of other stuff on my P5. With the built engine, 400 hp to the wheels is possible, I will be at 300 to the wheels.

I will be more than happy to advise you in your turbo endeavours, just shoot me a phone call or PM any time

As for best, that really depends on your defination.
If you are looking for all out performance, then you need a well designed Tubular manifold and 3" downpipe with a GT series turbo.

If you are looking for alittle extra power, then get a cast manifold and smaller downpipe. The TSI kit is as cheap as you will find. Not the best in quality or perfomance, but will give you a few extra HP over stock.
If power, great looks, quality and a GT series turbo is what you are looking for, then look no further than our systems. Our systems only use the best components on the market.

Do some research and see what fill's your needs.

Hey guys, i was also thinking about turboing my pro, i was seriously thinking about getting the sleeper kit because i cant afford to build up the engine to hold the thumper's power right now, but then i only now noticed from 505's post that the thumper is only afew hundred dollars more then the sleeper. So what im wondering now is, is it cool to just buy the thumper and run it with sleeper power until i can afford to build it up more or would it run like crap?

Thanks

The sleeper kit can put out 400 hp at the wheels, WAY WAY more than you really need. I will have 300 to the wheels on my P5. That is what we are going to tune it for. 300 hp to the wheels will surprise you.

A sleeper lags less than a thumper too.

You can get more than 200 to the wheels with a sleeper and stock engine.

i guess you're right, i want about 300whp daily driver with option for more. I have afew friends with low 13 high-12 second cars (2 SRT4s, STI, Evo, Turbo S2000) and i want to be able to keep up them. So say i went with the sleeper kit, what else would you suggest i get?

Another thing I was thinking about is to get the stripper series and then upgrade with the intercooler later on, but i only want that so i can be the first guy with a sleeping-stripper protege... i thought it was funny...

Thanks

haha. nice one (rofl)

Jolthind -

If you want to keep up with cars like those, you NEED a built engine and a full sleeper kit.

If you want a cool street car with some decent power without spending a lot of money, get the stripper sleeper and upgrade later.
