2002 Turbo P5
On my turbo housing I have an inlet and a outlet for coolant to cool the turbo I was wondering if any one knew how to connect these where the inlet should connect to and where the return should connect to. My turbo gets hot so I want to use this since I have it.

check Flyinprotege's website. I believe they post their instructions on how to intall their kit. There should be a section in the instructions that covers that topic.

yes they have a PDF its very easy to tap the water lines.

i know on an IHI turbo you need a 5/16 thread to a 5/16th barb, hard to find they offer banjo bolts you can get from Juan thru IHI.

i dont now what turbo you have man.

Just so everybody knows you can get those size barbs at most hydraulic hose suppliers thats where I got my plugs to plug the holes for now. Thanks for the info I went to FP site and saw the info. on how to hook up going to do it tonight. DeckedoutMP5 what level of boost were you running when you blew the trans?
I am running 6lbs on a small IHI not sure what size it is also have a 16000gvw trans cooler and full red line synthetic I have been driving it gingerly hoping it will hold.

8 psi when it blew with this tranny cooler, its above my FMIC. I run royal purple racing ATF dex 3.
PS: i have looked everywhere for that connector, even specialty pipe places dont have it. if you can let me know where i can get the please let me know. Juan told me they are hard to find.

The company that makes the fittings is Parker Hoses in michigan the company that carries them is Exotic Hose and Fittings they supply all the manufactures in the area. If you can't locate them let me know I'll get some and send them to you. By chance did you have a trans temp gauge hooked up. Before boost I was running about 190deg after with cooler 160deg hopefully will survive fingers crossed I have a line on a extra trans for $400 shipped I saw you question about changing to manual I talked to one shop and when they figured it all out it would be expensive as all hell. I was thinking of doing the same thing but for now I will just baby the trans and hope it gets by.

the swap is not hard to do. its the time and parts is whats a b****. you need lots of parts. greenmp3 has talked to me about it. i will be emailing him alot asking him ?'s when i do it.

thanks on the info for the fittings. i had the tranny temp gauge but was not hooked up. i was goin to do that when i put on my new 4- hose for my oil to make it longer and then change the fluid drop pan and install the tranny sensor but it blew up before i had the chance.

Thanks for the info and let me know how the swap goes still have the thought in the back of my head.

Another question do you know if the regluar automatic is any stronger than the shifttronic, because I don't have the shifttronic and it seems that eveyone that is having problems is with the sifttronic?

i hear claims on cars all day thats what my dad does and to be honest the standard auto and shiftronics auto have the same problems. the only difference is the electronic valve that controls the shifting. the shiftronics is supposedly stronger as in higher rpms and can manually shift. BUT i dont by it. there are others that have blown it at 5 psi with normal autos non shiftronics.

why they cant make a ******* tranny like a supra auto is BS. they know we boost it. fuckers.

I hear ya it seems like they stopped short on alot of things on our car made it look great but not able to back up the looks with power and strength! F them!

royal purple huh? the story is starting to become clearer....

royal purple is awesome, almost the same as gm syncromesh. redline is to thick for our trannies really. i use royal purple on my pro mod street truck running 700 hp and that tranny has never had a problem, and ive ran it in all my sport bikes. on my tranny for my jeep which is a supra tranny with a modded aw4 tbox and klune for my rock crawling competitions i use royal purple.

thats not or was the problem.

bad- can you still get these? i cant find them. i will pay you if you can get them and mail them to me, i need 2 of them.

peace- trav

5/16th thread and 5/16th barded end.

Deck I can still get them if they don't have them in stock for sure they will have the bushing to make it work or else they can order them for me do you want them straight or 90's pm me with your adress and what type you want or if the bushing to make them work matters. They usally don't charge me for my stuff since I hook them up with carwash's and shipping shouldn't be that much. You just maybe help me out later if I need somthing.
