I just put my Delrin TRZ mount on last night.

Mmmmmmm, vibrate-y.

On the plus side, WOW. This is definately the biggest modding bang for the buck. $100 gets you improved shifting, improved accelleration and improved traction.

PG has great customes service, but if you refuse to shop there for some reason, the mounts can be bought from the fabricators site.
www.TRZMOTORSPORTS.com
they are not yet listed, you will need to call or e-mail. the only issue there is they do not keep them in stock... PG does. if you get one direct from TRZ you will have to wait until the next batch is made.

Lets just say I like to deal with companies with quality customer service. (crazy)

sent you a private message about that. more than willing to admit when i make a mistake and publically acknowledge/apologize for it.

they've made mistakes.
admitted them.
compensated for them.

nobody's perfect.

even MR. CORKY BELL makes mistakes...

no, we're not, and i will be the first person to admit that. i try to minimize if not altogether eliminate bad experiences, and bad first ones even more so. i've been in and in many ways still am in the shoes of the customer and know what it means to have a sour taste in your mouth from a first order that did not go as smooth as one would like. kurt deserves an apology from me and i have done so in a PM and will do so here.

if we screw up, i'll admit it, apologize and attempt to make things right and move on. thats simply how i view it. no shame in admitting a mistake.

I want to put a mount in but I don't want to deal with any vibration or noises... Who wants to take lead on going over the differences in options? Ken??

big vibrations houpro5? or just vibrations?

I guess it depends on the person. I would say they are moderate vibrations. When you start the car it seems louder in the cabin. The vibrations are worst between idle and 2k rpms. After that, it's very mild.

I like the improvement in 'driving feel', so I accept the vibrations.

I'll take a stab at it, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you don't want to deal with the vibrations, don't get a stiffer mount. The stock mount is designed to limit rocking of the motor under torque. The secondary function is to limit transmission of vibration to the chassis.

The options you have are:

1. Fill in the stock mount with urethane. Get's you a little less rocking, but the stock rubber in the mount will still damp the vibrations somewhat.

2. Get an aftermarket mount. There are many out there, most are based somewhat on the stock design, the AWR being the most similar and the TRZ being the most differrent. These all replace the rubber bushing with solid plastic pieces of differing hardnesses. The harder the material (durometer rating) the more vibration will be transmitted.

3. Design your own mount. You could make something with liquid or electro-mechanical damping that might give you the stiffness without the vibrations.

if you don't want any added vibration whatsoever, not even a little bit, i would not even put an aftermarket motor mount in the car. honestly 90% of any noticeable vibration is felt only at idle. acceleration or cruise the difference is negligible.

A public apology was not needed. However, it is nice to see a vendor man up and do so. I did respond to your PM, and I will respond here. Thank you for the apoplgy.
