Transmission swap

Has someone has swap their trans with something else? fc or fd

Only time I those in an RX-8 is when someone swapped out the engine for a 20B or a 13B-REW and it's usually a S5 TII transmission. Custom driveshaft required as the transmissions are different lengths but the shifter location is essentially the same. Why looking to swap? Stock broken?

I didn't realize the RX-8 transmission were weak. I know of at least one guy running an RX-8 transmission in a FC powered by a 13B-REW running sequential turbos. I'm pretty sure he's north of 350 whp.
