transmission recall?

yesterday my cars transmission acted up, not shifting into (3rd and 4th gears)
I was wondering if there was any recalls for mazda transmissions? I have not even hit 90,000 miles on the car.

Not sure, I just checked nhtsa and couldn't find anything on it, I've heard about this topic before on the forums though

Not a recall a revision with different synchro material and stronger shiftfork design after early 02

Check the shift linkage underneath maybe something got bumped and bent...hopefully.

i think the o p has an automatic, not a manual.

i believe it was the manual trans that was updated from 02-03.

i dont know of any recalls. my tiptronic is ok for now.

if its an automatic, are you getting any check engine lights? cause the tranny could have gone into "safe mode" staying only in 1st and 2nd gear. could be the speed sensor wire. aka you have the same symptoms as when i had that happen to my focus
