Transmission/mod install meet Sunday 1/21

Do any of you guys have an MSP sub (blown is fine) sitting around, out of their car? I'm trying to figure out where I can hide a sub in the MPV, and I was thinking about picking up one of the several cheap MSP subs and amps up for sale on the forum right now, so I need one for fit-testing.

Have any of you ever built a sub-box?
I'm trying to do this cheap, simple and compact.
I gotcha, but remind me, it's stowed away under the house. I have built a box a while ago, it wasn't that great, but my buddy Jeff builds them for money and he knows it pretty well, we can get advice from him. I have a bandpass box if you want it (sorry not free), but it fits 2 tens and isn't very compact.

That would be great if you could bring it, (the sub) Scott.

There's a hole behind the right rear interior panel that might work, but I may have to fiberglass an enclosure to fill the funky shape. Would a pair of MSP subs work at all if I mounted them in the stock rear speaker locations, as in, without a box? Could I run two of them off of one MSP amp, or would I need one for each? I'm not looking for competition bass, which is why I'm not asking these questions in the audio section. Those guys can be serious elitists about this s***!

I am not going to be able to make it tomorrow due to family obligations. My wonderful wife forgot to tell me that we have (I mean get to) spend the day with her family tomorrow for an anniversary party. (bang) (bang) (bang)

You guys have fun and I will eventually get to meet all of you!

ugh, I would definately love to come to this... too bad theres just a few states in between us.

oh well.... :(

i'll be there tomorow got all 6 quarts of synchromesh and my bag of tools. Ron will be there so i plan on swapping trunks while we are there. Also if by the time i get there the trans still isnt in i cant put it in. I just finished ron's so its not that big of a prob.

*starts cleaning up the garage*

I bought some tarps today to make a "ghetto house tent" since it looks like it'll rain tomorrow. I'll attach them to the house to expand our working room. If anyone has an EZ-up cover, bring it.
