Transfer case leak

It seems like I have a leak around my PTO's output shaft seal. I wonder if anyone fixed by using Ford's seal kit DB5Z-7275-E like in https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-NEW-Tr...aurus-Flex-Explorer-DB5Z-7275-D-/201972025513

Not sure if it's possible to DIY a transfer case output shaft seal. I have a tiny leak on my Mercedes GLK and the transmission / transfer case needs to be disassembled to replace the seal from the inside. Hoping its not the same case here.
