tranny swap for MX3 GS automatic

hi...I have a 93 Mazda MX3 GS automatic...tranny went out about 2 weeks ago..I have ordered trannies from a junk yard 3 different times...they keep sending me the wrong ones...the last one is for a MX6...I have read on other forums that this tranny should bolt right up...cannot figure out how this can happen...where would the starter go for one thing...also would you be able to use all of the bolts, cause some just do not line up...any help with this would very much be appreciated...also if anyone knows of other trannies that will work...thanks (boom08)

I have the same problem you have, i have a 92 mx3 4 cyl. but I am looking to sell so i can buy the v6 1.8. The thing is the seals are bad in the v6 and the mx3 i have now is manual, and the one im looking to buy is automatic. How hard would it be and how much would it cost me to switch the auto to a manual?
